You’ve just bought that new home, I hope I was your Realtor! Now its time to learn about the important things.  Where to shop for seafood.  My recommendation- Cox’s Seafood off Dale Mabry in Tampa.  Very near the Raymond James Stadium, Cox’s is my go-to spot for taking 5 pound bags of “boiled, de-veined, and cleaned” shrimp back to my Wisconsin and Indiana Family.  Many of my family members have loved oysters over the years.  I am not really fond of them, but love to make my family happy!
Today, I learned a new trick.  Buy oysters in the shell, and roast in the oven for a little while to “Pop” open the shells.  This prevents you from Pounding on them, swearing at them, and possibly cutting yourself seriously!  We set the oven tonight for 425 degrees and baked them for 12 minutes.  They popped open and my family and friends said they turned out really good.  Yes, we still had to cut the shell a little bit, and open the shell up but it sure was easier!! Here’s the Link to the market in case you want to try it out. Let me know what you think and what you learn to cook.
